Mr Andy Weir

Mr Andy Weir

We are sad to report the deaths of Mrs Heather Symonds, daughter of Mr Robert McDonald (Royal Irish Fusiliers) of the Mid Ulster Branch.

And Mr Andy Weir (Royal Navy) member of the Northern Ireland Branch (pictured right).

Both died during the weekend of 14th-15th May 2011.

Members of the National Malaya & Borneo Veterans Association, Mid Ulster Branch and Northern Ireland Branch were invited to attend morning service by Reverend Canon Terence Cadden.

Invited Dignitaries present included:

ROYAL SALUTE 21ST APRIL 2011

Hillsborough Castle

Mrs Pat Baker, Mr Ron Moore, Janet Moore, Tony Baker

Members of the National Malaya & Borneo Veterans Association Mid-Ulster Branch and the Northern Ireland Branch were invited by “ABF The Soldiers’ Charity” to a ROYAL SALUTE at Hillsborough Castle in celebration of the Queen’s Official Birthday.
Also invited was members of the Irish Army 62 Artillery Unit included their Commanding Officer Commandant Noel Kelly retired, RSM Harry Hughes, RQM Arthur Quinn, Sgt Darren McMahon and Private Ian Galloway.
